The fishing season occurs throughout the year and is divided into phases, as the water levels rise and fall in the rivers.
Leather Fish
JAN | FEB | MAR | APR | MAY
The full period occurs between the months of December to May of each season. At this time of year, due to the constant rains and waters received from the tributary rivers, the rivers have large volumes of water well above their box, making the period favorable for fishing for giant catfish such as Pirarara, Piraíba, Jaú, Cachara, Caparari, the sporty Apapás, Corvina among other species.

The period in the box occurs between the months of June, July and November of each season. At this time of year, the rivers drain their large volumes of water received in the previous period, returning to their normal level, where the period becomes favorable for all species of fish, both the giant catfish and the sporty scales.
Sport Fish
AUG | SEP | OCT
The dry period occurs between the months of August, September and October of each season. At this time of year, the rivers have their lowest water volumes, which provides the favorable period for fishing for the most sporty fish such as Tucunaré, Bicuda, Cachorra, Matrinchã, Jatuarana, Aruanã among other species.
Despite some climatic particularities, it is during these months that experienced fishermen find the perfect opportunity to venture into one of the most fascinating activities in the world: fishing for the brave sportsmen of scales.
